Overview

Assurlytics is an AI-assisted research and decision-support workspace for U.S. medical coding, billing, payer research and denial investigation, available at https://assurlytics.com. It is designed as professional decision support for coding, billing and revenue-cycle work.

What it helps with

  • Researching diagnosis, procedure and supply codes with Code Lookup.
  • Reviewing structured, non-identifying claim information for potential inconsistencies with Claim Scrubber.
  • Analysing denial reasons and preparing draft appeal materials for professional review with Denial Help.
  • Researching payer policies and medical-necessity requirements with Policy Q&A.
  • Exploring payer, provider and operational information with Payer Intelligence and NPI Lookup.
  • Getting explanations on coding, billing and documentation with AI Coach.
  • Accessing selected research tools in the browser with the Chrome Extension.
  • Revisiting previous research where History is enabled — see Dashboard and History.

Release 1.0 product boundary

Release 1.0 covers structured, non-PHI workflows. Do not submit patient names, dates of birth, member IDs, medical record numbers, identifiable clinical narratives or other protected health information.

Assurlytics in Release 1.0 is not a full EHR, clearinghouse, claim-submission system or end-to-end RCM platform, and it should not be described as HIPAA-compliant or SOC 2 certified unless those claims are independently verified and authorised. Not processing PHI is a product restriction, not proof that all regulatory obligations are eliminated.

What it is not

This documentation does not present Assurlytics as a replacement for professional judgement, payer policy or an organisation's compliance process. Always check the payer's current policy and your organisation's rules before acting on a suggestion. AI explanations are advisory: they must not be described as an authoritative code-set replacement, a guaranteed correct code assignment or a medical diagnosis.
