FAQs
Frequently asked questions about Assurlytics documentation, Code Lookup, and getting started.
Documentation draft — not a verified product specification. Answers below follow the source document's boundaries. Where an answer says "not confirmed", do not treat the underlying feature as available.
Frequently asked questions
What is Assurlytics?
Assurlytics is an AI-assisted research and decision-support workspace for U.S. medical coding, billing, payer research and denial investigation. See What is Assurlytics?.
Which code systems does Code Lookup support?
ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, and HCPCS Level II. See Supported Code Systems.
What is the verified Code Lookup example?
ICD-10-CM E11.9 — Type 2 diabetes mellitus without complications. ICD-10-PCS 0FT44ZZ is also an example code in the approved mockup; its details are shown in the application.
Why can't I find a code?
Verify the selected code system, code format, search phrase and relevant code year. A code may be inactive, changed or outside the supported dataset.
Can I enter real patient data?
No. Release 1.0 workflows are intended for non-PHI inputs. See Data and Privacy.
Does a clean Claim Scrubber result guarantee payment?
No. A clean result only indicates that the configured checks did not flag an issue in the supplied scenario.
Can Denial Help send appeals to a payer?
Automated appeal submission is not confirmed as part of the current release. Drafting and exporting, where available, require professional review and external submission. Export formats described in product discussions (PDF, DOCX, text) must be confirmed in the deployed build and are not guaranteed here.
Is an AI answer an official payer policy?
No. Verify the payer's official policy, plan, effective date and jurisdiction.
Does NPI Lookup prove provider credentials?
No. NPI information is an administrative reference, not proof of licensure or payer network participation.
Why are credits or usage unavailable?
There may be a temporary account, network or service error. Retry using the current UI and consult support if the issue persists. Do not infer a zero balance. No prices or credit allowances are published here — see Plans and Usage.
Are all Chrome extension features identical to the web app?
Not necessarily. Document actual feature differences after comparing the released versions. See Chrome Extension.
Is there public API documentation?
Not currently verified or available. See API Reference.
Where do I get help?
See Contact Support and the Need help? card on documentation pages. Support URL, email, service hours and SLAs must be verified before publication — none are asserted here.
What is on the roadmap?
Items that are Planned / not confirmed, with no dates or commitments, are listed on the Roadmap.
